S7 AWL simulator is a free Step 7 AWL/STL/PLC simulator written in Python. It achieves good performance of several tens of thousands of AWL instructions per second (depending on the host machine and whether online diagnostics are enabled). German and english AWL/STL mnemonics are supported.
